Celebrating Our Service

ICBA recognizes our industry’s grassroots volunteer service programs

For the past 15 years, the National Community Bank Service Awards, presented by ICBA and sponsored once again by FIS, have recognized community banks that provide outstanding, hands-on volunteer community service programs. Since 2002, the program has recognized more than 100 community banks and their employees. Over the years all types of community service activities have been honored. Many spur new economic development. Many work to expand financial literacy. Still others offer a compassionate helping hand or provide widely enjoyed occasions for people simply to come together to celebrate and make new friends.

This month Independent Banker presents community service programs recognized as award recipients and honorable mentions from this year’s National Community Bank Service Awards. ICBA congratulates these community banks, representing the good work of all community banks across the nation, for the extraordinary volunteer service work they perform.
